For the past few weeks, The Greatness Studio has been working with Hack the Virus, a competition encouraging innovators to create solutions for challenges related to COVID-19 in Egypt. The event is a collaboration between Egypt’s Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and United Nations Technology Innovation Labs (UNTIL).
COVID Kit
COVID Kit is a portable respirator for acute cardiac and respiratory episodes. It’s made of commercially available equipment that costs only 1500 Egyptian Pounds (or 88 Euros) to buy. Mohamed and the team are high school students 😃 whose pitch won 3rd place in the Hack the Virus’ Idea track.
