ThinkUX Haarlem: Design for Sustainable Engagement
7 February 2019, PXL.Widgets, Haarlem
Research shows that, when we fall in love with products, we enjoy levels of satisfaction and emotional engagement similar to loving humans.
How can we help people fall in love with our products? And why is that important? In this talk, we’ll look at the science of love and the art of designing love-worthy products.
We’ll cover the Ladder of Sustainable Engagement, a design framework for designing products that create meaningful value, follow a balanced rhythm, have emotional personality, and sustainable endurance. We’ll cover basic models of emotional design, behavior change, and design ethics.
